This piece marks my first work of 2026, created in the early days of January. It reflects on the beginning of a new year and is shaped by ideas of renewal, purification and light. The colour palette is fresh, warm and clear. Buna means birch tree in Japanese. It symbolises spring, growth and beginnings.
